Preschool Day was yesterday!! We do this every other Friday with my cousin’s 2 boys that are about the same ages as my girls. We pick a Before Five in a Row title, do lessons with the kids during the week and then get together on Friday for “bigger” lessons. You know, the ones we’d skip if it was just our kids, the messy activities, the ones that take a little time or effort to prepare, you know–the fun ones!!
So yesterday, we blew bubbles, pasted clothing on bears, made stamped paintings with different shapes and made “blotch painting” butterflies. Right now, I only have pictures of the bears. I’ll have to do better with picture taking next time. 
Oh, that is so fun!! You are right…those are the activities that we tend to overlook unless we have other families involved. 🙂
That’s why we joined a local co-op for art, music and some science(which I don’t need for Kristin). However, my friend teaches the art and she geared it towards the curriculum that Kristin and her boys are doing this year. Works Perfectly! Art this year is Art from around the world! 🙂
