well, A is for both of my girls’ ( or is it girls’s) names… And here is what I’ve created for the holidays…
This was so easy & so cute that I decided to make another for my niece… This one isn’t finished. I still have to decide what color border to put on it.
Those are adorable! What did you use to do the letters?
It's fabric. I used the no-sew iron-on adhesive, attached it to a square of fabric, cut out the letter & ironed it on! 😉
How incredibly cute!! Is the border just fabric paint? I am thinking we will have to make some of these. 🙂 Did you use a stencil for the fabric…or was it already in that shape?
Tammy, I made my own stencils on the computer. I chose the font & the size & have the outline print to conserve ink. I printed on cardstock so it would be sturdier, cut it out of the paper & then used it as a template for the fabric. And yes, the border is just fabric paint. I have seen them done with a zig-zag stitch or the stitch that a serger does… You can tell I sew alot, huh?!
You sew as much as I do apparently!! LOL I am going to have to make these for sure. We are going to have a craft day in January or February with Kristin and my niece as part of my niece’s Christmas present. This might be perfect.
