For nearly two years, the maestros (Ecudorian construction workers) and multiple short-term volunteer teams have been working on the construction of the Casa de Fe school. Jeff and Jesse were here in March 2011 when a lot of concrete was being poured.
Jeff and Jesse returned in March 2012 with a short-term group from our church. Much progress had been made…
When we moved here in May, the project was nearing completion. On September 3rd (Labor Day in the US), a dedication was held at the Grand Opening of the completed Casa de Fe school!
It was a great day to celebrate the completion of such a large and important project. The children, Casa de Fe staff and board members gathered to give thanks to God and to dedicate this place for His glory.
