Where has the time gone?
A former teacher posted the following quote on facebook a few weeks ago, directed to those of us with young children: “The days are long, but the years are short.”
As a first-time sleep-deprived mom, I probably wouldn’t have “gotten” that. However, I am in a season of life where I get it. With a 13-year-old, a 6-year-old, a 3-year-old & a new one-year-old, I GET IT!
It is hard to believe that an entire year has passed. The bedrest, delivery, recovery…it’s all over… And she’s walking! *gasp* Toddlerhood is upon us, and I am determined to enjoy every minute.
She wasn’t quite sure what to do with the cake…
She had lots of help opening gifts. She’s saying her new favorite word, “oooooooooooooo”.
She’s a big girl like her sisters now with her baby & baby stroller.
