We spent another of our vacation days at the Cincinnati Zoo.
The petting zoo is always a favorite! The kids spent half an hour feeding, petting and brushing the goats.
I loved this zoo! The picture to the left shows the little boys petting a chincilla. There were animal handlers everywhere. We also saw a skunk and a tarantula up close and personal.
We took a train ride around the zoo…
Mr. Elephant to the lower left did a little dance for us. He must have come from the circus?
And Mr. Peacock to the right joined us for lunch!
The endangered manatee…
And the pregnant endangered Indian rhino…It was a great day. I hope it made memories that the children will not soon forget.
